    ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED BABY CUP - ABC'S & ELEPHANT CIRCUS MOTIFS MARKED WM. A ROGERS 470 -
    If you are a collector of 19th Century silver plated items, then you will want to consider this wonderful antique baby cup used as an early developmental devise. Note: Other cups I have seen marked 470 on the bottom have also the stamp of Sterling; see my last listing photo for this famous 19th Century makers mark. The alphabet is beautifully engraved around the top edge and a gorgeous motif of elephants surrounds the bottom as the decorative element. The hand is also designed elegantly as well as functionally for a child to use even today. Whether you are a collector of silver items or just looking to treat that new addition to your family with something special from the past, this is one sweet baby cup.     Please view my detailed photos for the actual condition of this item and as part of my description. The cup is in amazing antique condition with very little wear to the surfaces. A bit of natural patina could be cleaned at the new owners discretion. The famous makers mark is clearly stamped on the bottom of the cup. I will carefully ship this item to the winning bidder by way of Priority Mail.
