THERMCRAFT 1300 DEG C Vertical Tube 4x24" Furnace and controller
This listing is for a used vertical THERMCRAFT tube furnace in good working condition.   The system consists of a single zone 4.25" x 24" tube furnace. step-down transformer, and controller.  Furnace has an inner diameter of 4 1/4" and is 24" long with an outer diameter of 12".  Transformer steps 230V single phase power down to 60V which is the operating voltage of the furnace.  Control box features a Eurotherm digital temperature controller and SCR controller.
The system was custom built by a fiber optics lab and was used underneath a glovebox atmosphere chamber.  We powered up the system and ran the furnace up to 550 C and it worked well and held the temp within 30 Deg C.  The oven is in very good condition and it is apparent it was not continually operated near its max temperature since there is no discoloring of any of the components.
